Abstract:
TCA-K55 is a coordinate titanate that is stable and inert with ester substance like plasticizers, the regular titanates will react with esters and the transesterification reaction will occur. In the formula which contains any esters the coordinate titanate like TCA-K55 will be your best choice.
Applications and Performance:
It is mainly used in fiberglass reinforced unsaturated polyester to improve mechanical strength and aging resistance.
Application of TCA-K55 in epoxy paint containing high content of titanium dioxide or clay can reduce dosage of titanium oxide and solvent, increase dosage of clay without changing the viscosity of system, and improve adhesion to glass and metal.
TCA-K55 can be used to treat such inorganic fillers as metal powders to improve dispersion and anti-setting.
Packing:
The regular packing of this product is 20kg plastic pail, 210L steel drums and 1000L immediate bulk container.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. This product has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in tightly closed original container at room temperature.
If this product is kept beyond the shelf life recommend on the product label, it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control should be performed on the properties relevant to the application.
